J.W. Petermann, Founder - Director
JW Petermann has spent a lifetime as a scientist, inventor and entrepreneur. Working at all levels of science and technology, he lead the fight in the 1980’s against poisoning of children by lead based paint. Recently, he has been awarded a number of patents in wireless communications and artificial intelligence at home and abroad. Active in the field of Mitochondrial DNA research, he has created products to reduce the effects of aging and competitive athletic stress and has found time to occasionally serve as a Christian pastor.

The Writer: Since the age of ten he has quietly been writing, first published in local newspapers as a poet and later writing for advertising. His greatest love however, is writing children's books and short stories. Many longer stories, a screenplay, and poetry are complete, with a novel in progress.

The Humorist::
Older now, he has developed a love of cartooning and humor with four developing strips and over 1,500 cartoon panels soon to be published as a book. His website, jwpetermann.com showcases several of his works. There you will find various media: audio CD's, framed and signed Cartoon Panels, Cartoon books, children's books, books of collected stories and poetry.

As a family man with a loving wife of forty years and two grown children, he eagerly looks to the future and deeply cherishes the past. Tomorrow, yes tomorrow, will come and he will embrace it....in the garden!

About Us
Our Center is a non-profit 501-3c created to teach Organic Gardening in the classroom and in "the dirt". Classes are affordable, fun-filled  and instill the frontier tradition of self sufficiency and love of the land. Health-wise people also recognize the value of home grown and chemical free produce grown in their own backyards and gardens.

Come by and discover the value of attending more than one class: the more you attend, the lower the cost per class. Attend all 6 Saturday classes and discover real savings (less than half the single class cost).

Oh, your spouse or child wants to come? We only charge just a little extra. That's a real bargain that just might encourage your youngster to a lifetime of gardening joy and health!
